Creating Sustainable Livelihoods for Afghan Women
For many displaced Afghan women, finding a stable income is a challenge. To address this, AUDO launched a training program focused on embroidery and business development, allowing women to use traditional Afghan skills to earn a livelihood.
This initiative, funded by the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF), has trained 261 displaced women in Bamiyan, providing them with tools, resources, and market connections to sell their handmade products locally and internationally.
By creating economic opportunities, we empower women to support their families, gain financial independence, and build confidence in their abilities. Many of these women are now running their own embroidery businesses, ensuring a sustainable future.
Your donation can help more displaced women gain skills and become self-reliant entrepreneurs!
