Building Resilient Communities Through Women’s Leadership
AUDO believes in the power of women to drive social change and foster peace. That’s why we launched a project to support 10 women-led grassroots organizations in Bamiyan, helping them build leadership capacity, advocacy skills, and community networks.
With funding from UN Women, this initiative has impacted over 1,000 people (300 women and 726 men) by promoting social cohesion, peacebuilding, and local governance participation. Women involved in the project have gained access to training in conflict resolution, policy advocacy, and economic development, strengthening their roles in decision-making spaces.
This project is a testament to Afghan women’s resilience, proving that when given the right support, they can lead their communities towards a more just and inclusive future.
